This trip will take us first to the Cathar Land and its wonderfull cities like Carcassonne and its gorgeus Castles. Then we will see the wild coast close to the Spanish border, followed by white beaches and horses and Roman Amphitheatres. Our last stop will be then a NP with its picturesque hill-villages surrounded by the typical Lawendel colors of the Provence and wild-romantic gorges.
Situated in the northeast of France, this area is framed by the Vosges Hills in the west and the valley of the Rhine to the west. This quintessentially French region is infused with German influences, as it was part of Germany from 1870 until after WWI. It can be seen in the architecture, cuisine and language. Alsace is tremendously beautiful and interesting. Vineyards and the historical towns — many with castle remnants and medieval walls—are the focus of this tour. And as always when in France, you’ll delight in good food and local wines throughout.

We'll start in the flatlands bordering Brittany and Normandy along the estuary where the green of the ocean merges with the blue of the sky. Shortly after, we'll tour one of the marvels of the western world: Mont St. Michel Abbey – fortress and pilgrimage site for centuries. Cradled by the sea, the abbey is still as hypnotizing as it was in medieval times .
